WIN Detergent

Brand expansion and recognition is key to a successful marketing effort.  We see logos everywhere; especially the big brands.  Clothing, from caps to shoes.  Bags for shopping to bags for travel and of course, drinkware.  Coffee Cups at fast food places, mugs at restaurants and water bottles to keep you hydrated.

My client, WIN Detergent, decided that a good sized water bottle would be a great vehicle to expand brand recognition.

WIN is a sports detergent, formulated specifically for clothing that needs to be washed after a workout.  In fact, their usage directions playfully have a stinky scale letting the user know just how much to put in the wash.  Learn move at www.windetergent.com.

The WIN team, led by Lee Silverman, wanted a white mid-sized bottle that could be used while exercising or everyday hydration.  That was the easy part; finding a production partner that could fulfill the labeling and logistic requirements of   Amazon was another matter.  Both WIN Detergent and the WIN Bottle are     available on Amazon.  Amazon requires that items be shipped to specific locations and that all items have a unique tracking label.  We did find the right production partner and now you can buy the WIN Bottle and WIN Detergent on Amazon.

“When my marketing team at WIN Detergent decided to expand brand recognition beyond our packaging, we turned to David and Optimum Promotional Products for help.  My team wanted to use a white water bottle with our logo.  After a brief conversation with David, where I explained some Amazon specific requirements, David provided a short list of bottle recommendations with a vendor that could meet our packaging and shipping requirements.  David and his team at Optimum made what we thought might be complicated into a simple process with follow-up and attention to detail right up to delivery of the bottles to the Amazon warehouse.  I recommend David and Optimum to any business owner in need of a great promotional product consultant.”

Sorry Stress

“Sorry Stress, I’ve decided to see someone else.”

Denise Silverstein, LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker)

A few years ago, my friend Denise presented me with a challenge.  She wanted a way to thank her clients with a gift that could be used on a regular basis and playfully deliver a message that reinforced her brand.  Denise liked a phrase that indicated that a person was seeking out ways to reduce stress, by seeing someone else.

Denise added hot chocolate packets to the mug and wrapped the mug in clear cellophane, added a card and presto!; the perfect gift.  The following year we put the same slogan on a hot/cold travel bottle.  Denise’s clients have really enjoyed the drinkware.  Denise likes the subtle message, that reminds people to see someone.

Do you need to reach and reinforce your message with a specific audience?  Drinkware could be part of your solution.  Contact me for a free consultation on how drinkware or other promotional products can help.

“The most amazing gifts for my clients, as well as guests at milestone occasions, have come from the creativity of David Frons. He has helped me to select and personalize important items for many years.  His expertise in guiding me has been so helpful, as making these decisions was never my strong suit! From a beautiful mug which reads, “Sorry stress, I’ve decided to see someone else” to my favorite t-shirt during the Pandemic and countless other items.  David’s willingness to fully listen and explore various ideas has been a real blessing.  The quality and special thought that he has put into each order is remarkable and always delivered right on time. With such a commitment to satisfying customers and impeccable work ethic, I look forward to continuing working with David Frons in the future. "

Old Town Trolley

Old Town Trolley “Night Tour” Wristbands

Eliza of Old Town Trolley Tours gave me a great testimonial. I thought it might be interesting to share with you both the testimonial and the back story on that project

In late 2016, I was referred to The General Manager of Old Town Trolley Tours of Nashville.  Steve and I had a couple of conversations, and in the Spring of 2017, he suggested Eliza Warren reach out to me.  At that time, Eliza was the “Night Tour” Operations Manager, looking for a solution to a unique challenge.

During the “Night Tour”, patrons would have the opportunity to exit the trolley, have a drink (included with the tour ticket) and listen to some music at one of the premiere spots on the tour.  Eliza needed a way to identify patrons when they reboarded the trolley and have something to exchange for their drink.

Originally, we were thinking about using wrist bands and a token of some sort.  The wrist band was easy, but the logistics around the token more complex.  Stand alone tokens would have a value associated with them.  They would need to be collected and returned to be used again.  Also, some patrons might not use their token; now, inventory became an issue.  That we would need two items; the wrist band and a token seemed excessive.

I started to research alternatives to a two-item solution.  I discovered that the wrist band vendor had a tab option.  This would allow us to have one item and present an opportunity for further promotion of the brand.

This is a mockup of the wrist band with the drink and discount option tabs.

We decided that this was the way to go.  The wrist band identified the patron for reboarding the trolley.  The drink tab was a one time use coupon, without a future use value.  The discount coupon provided an additional value to the patron and another income opportunity for Old Town Trolley.

Here is a photo of the wrist bands as they come from the factory.

This was the start of our relationship with Eliza and Old Town Trolley that continues today.

“I started working with Dave Frons in 2017. I needed wristbands for a new tour that my company was launching. After speaking with me about my objectives and the tour’s needs, Dave came back with a variety of creative options at very good price points. His idea of including our tour’s drink coupon on our wristband was brilliant and has been very effective!

I have now worked with Dave on a variety of projects and I have been extremely pleased with all the results! Dave is extremely easy to work with. I let him know what I need, and he comes back quickly with excellent ideas and options. I appreciate Dave’s honesty too. I can trust him to give honest feedback on products and I know that he will only present items that he knows are of good quality. I truly appreciate how much he cares for and takes care of his clients. Thank you, Dave!"
