Getting Goods in December is Tough, but Not Impossible

I’m a day behind schedule writing the blog for this month.  That seems to fit in with the theme in the promotional products business right now.  Typically, production estimates are right on schedule and shipping companies delight in early deliveries.  Not so in December.

December starts off down two production days and two shipping days due to Thanksgiving.  Add production staff weakness and driver shortages; goods could take a very long time to get from one place to another.

That’s why in December I tend to go local; Northeast local that is.  I drift towards vendors that can produce goods quickly and can be delivered in a day or two.  In the next town from me I have both a bag and a pen vendor.  I also have a chocolate maker that makes great gift baskets.

If you are concerned that’s it’s too late to score some great stuff for the holiday’s; It’s not.  It just takes a creative mind and the right connections.  Check out my testimonials at www.optimumisnownj.com and see what I can do for you.

But don’t wait too long.  I’m not in the miracle business.
